Website redesign

Website redesign: modernise your online presence

An ageing website does more than look dated: it loads slowly, displays poorly on phones and discourages contact. A well-prepared redesign builds on what works to make things clearer without losing past work.

The starting point

Signs it is time for a redesign

Your website is hard to read on phones, takes seconds to load or contains outdated business information. You can no longer edit it easily, or it brings almost no enquiries.

In these cases, repeated small fixes often cost more than an organised redesign. The aim is a sound foundation without erasing what Google and customers already know.

The solution

What the redesign includes

A carpenter marks a measurement on a board in his workshop
  1. Review of the existing website

An inventory of pages, useful content to keep and, if accessible, pages already receiving visits.

  2. New structure

Pages organised around your services and area, with contact options visible throughout.

  3. Updated content

Clearer copy, current information and consistent images and contact details.

  4. Redirects from old URLs

Each important old page is redirected to its equivalent to limit lost visibility and broken links.

  5. Mobile-friendly website

Readable and fast on phones, then on larger screens.

  6. Controlled launch

Pages, links, forms and redirects are checked during the switchover.

The method

How the redesign works

  1. Discuss

An initial conversation to understand your customers, goals and what you really want to improve.

  2. Build

Clear structure, useful content and a coherent customer journey. You approve before publication.

  3. Progress

After launch, we support the agreed visibility, adjustments and automation.

Frequently asked questions

A question not listed here? The first conversation is also for that.

Mockup: the project enquiry form on a screen
Will I lose my search rankings?

Risk arises mainly when old URLs disappear without redirects. We list existing pages and redirect each to its equivalent. No ranking can be guaranteed.

Can I keep my domain name?

Yes. Your domain remains yours: only the website shown at that address changes.

How long does a redesign take?

Timing depends on the pages and content to migrate and is set out in your quote. For a standard business website, our target is 21 days from a complete brief, signature and deposit.

Do I need to handle the technical side?

No. We handle the construction, launch and maintenance agreed in the contract. You approve content and key decisions.
